The Finnish retail chain Musti has released figures for the fiscal year ending on 30 September (1 October to 30 September).
Net sales by the group were reported to be 391.1 mio euros (same period in the previous year: 340.9 mio euros), equivalent to an increase of 14.7 per cent. Sales on a comparable store area grew by 6.7 per cent, with operating income rising by 8.8 per cent to 30.9 mio euros (same period, previous year: 28.4 mio euros), which equates to 7.9 per cent of sales (previous year: 8.3 per cent). “Our strong growth continues,” commented CEO David Ronnberg with reference to the figures.
For the last three months from July to September, the company reports net group sales of 101.8 mio euros (same period of previous year: 91.5 mio euros), corresponding to an increase of 11.3 per cent. Sales growth on a comparable store area was 4.7 per cent.
The number of stores operated rose from 312 to 335.
