MiniVet, one of the fund’s subsidiaries in Lithuania, invested in one of Poland’s largest networks of veterinary care providers.
The investment in LuxVet Group, one of the largest veterinary networks in Poland, is considered of “great potential for growth and expansion” in the Eastern European market.
“Investing in an international network of vet businesses will enable us to share knowledge, talent, the latest treatment methods, and most advanced equipment across the platform to be able to provide our customers and their pets with the highest quality of care,” said INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund partner Vidas Venckus.
The fund acquired the MiniVet chain in June 2022, which owns 2 veterinary clinics in the Lazdynėliai and Pilaitė districts of Vilnius.
Headquartered in Warsaw, LuxVet Group intends to implement a buy-and-build strategy to consolidate its position in the sector and become the leader in its home country by the end of the year.
