On 1 June, Trixie opened a distribution centre in the UK for treats. As of 15 June, treats are being dispatched to UK pet stores exclusively from the new distribution centre in Northampton.
This should cut delivery times significantly. The minimum order value for orders in this category is also being reduced, according to the company. Pet accessories will continue to be supplied by the logistics centre at the company’s headquarters in Tarp (Germany).
“Following the establishment of Trixie UK Pet Products Ltd. in June 2021, this new building represents a major step in our direct distribution, underlining the importance of the UK market for us,” says Volker Haak, Trixie managing director, in summary.
