Garth Merrick, founder of the American company Merrick Pet Care, died in early March at the age of 75. He founded his company in 1988 in the family kitchen in Hereford, Texas.
The company's brand portfolio still includes the house brand Merrick as well as Castor & Pollux, Whole Earth Farms and Zuke's.
